MamPytanie.online is an independent spiritual-study website focused on a United States audience. Optional Polish, Spanish, Ukrainian and Swahili interfaces are provided as a convenience to visitors; their availability does not represent a local business office. Laws in a visitor’s location may still apply. We are not affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
What we collect
When someone visits, we may process a session cookie, approximate country supplied by our content-delivery network, selected language, a pseudonymous visit identifier and aggregated traffic counts. When you submit a question, the server also records the question, a generated answer, date, IP address, session identifier, language, any associated account ID and approximate country. Spiritual questions may reveal deeply personal matters, including religious beliefs, relationships and health concerns. Please avoid including names, addresses, passwords or other identifying details.
If you choose Google Sign-In, we receive basic account details, including Google account ID, email address and profile name, for sign-in and question-history functionality. We do not request your Google password. Contact requests contain the name, email and message you supply.
How we use information
Questions are sent for AI answer generation to Google's Gemini API, or to OpenAI if our backup model is needed. We may use submitted questions to retrieve related YouTube video metadata and to build cached answers. We use session information and IP addresses for abuse prevention, account access, security, usage limits and operational troubleshooting. Aggregate visitor statistics help us monitor use and costs. An administrator can review stored questions and private contact requests. We do not send visitors’ questions or IP addresses by SMS, and we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Other services and transfers
The service uses web hosting and Cloudflare, Google Sign-In, Google Fonts, Google Gemini, optional OpenAI processing, and YouTube embeds and searches. Those services may process requests and may operate internationally under their own policies. Opening an embedded video can transfer information to YouTube. Links to Church resources open the Church’s separate site. We do not control the privacy practices of external websites.
Retention and safeguards
Aggregate pseudonymous visitor metrics are automatically limited to approximately 90 days. Video selections and answer cache entries help avoid repetitive external requests; answer cache entries are configured to expire after 30 days. Submitted-question records and optional signed-in question history are retained until removed through the available history controls or an administrative deletion request; there is not yet an automatic deletion period for all historical question submissions. If you prefer not to have sensitive questions retained, avoid identifying information or do not submit them. We restrict access to administrative data and use encrypted HTTPS connections, but no online service is completely risk-free.
Your choices and rights
Sign-in is optional. Signed-in visitors can delete visible question-history items. You can request access, correction or removal of personal data by using our contact and privacy request form. We will review requests according to applicable law and legitimate security obligations. Laws such as GDPR may provide additional rights where applicable, regardless of the site’s U.S. focus.
Changes
We may update this policy when features or service providers change. The effective date at the top identifies this version. We do not send marketing SMS or run a donation payment processor as of this version.
